My work is about connecting with human emotions and exploring what that looks like on paper and canvas. I'm drawn to the intricate and beautiful human anatomy of the body through the nude model and finding the immediacy of the figure through gesture drawings.  I love the exploration of raw human feelings often found through gesture drawings and work towards transferring that rawness to my paintings.

I graduated from the UW School of Art in Seattle, in 2002 and currently live and work on Vashon Island.
