Workshops in the Studio

Gather your group of 5-10 people and spend some time playing with gel printing, a simple and really fun way to make layered prints using acrylic paint, texture, and color.

What is gel printing?
Gel printing is a form of printmaking where we use a soft gel plate and acrylic paints to create one-of-a-kind prints. You roll paint onto the plate, add marks, textures, or stencils, and then press paper onto the surface to pull a print. Each layer builds on the last, so the process is full of surprises and beautiful color combinations. No experience is needed! …it’s very approachable and a great way to loosen up creatively.

What our time together will look like:
We’ll gather for about 1½–2 hours in a relaxed, creative setting. I’ll start by demonstrating the basics, like how to apply paint, create textures, and build layers, then you’ll have plenty of time to experiment and make your own prints. I’ll be there to guide you along the way, but the focus is on exploration, play, and enjoying the process. Bring drinks a snacks for your group to enjoy!

• All materials will be provided.
• $35 per person material fee.
• Minimum 5 people, max 10.
• BYOB and snacks

Come ready to make a little mess and try something new or develop your skills if you’ve done it before.  

We’ll enjoy a fun and creative time together.

Use my studio for your small gathering or workshop while I’m present to help things run smoothly.

$95 per session (up to 2 hours)
Additional time: $30/hour
