Seen and Unseen
Seen and Unseen is a collection of figurative paintings and drawings exploring gesture, identity, and the space between what we show and what we hold quietly within ourselves. These figures are less about capturing a particular person and more about the feeling of being human: thoughtful, uncertain, guarded, open, and still becoming.
Stretch
Stretch is a loosely drawn figure reaching across a field of turquoise, with soft pink and gray framing the body.
I was drawn to the awkwardness and effort in the pose, the feeling of reaching beyond what is comfortable. There is tension in it, but also release, like the moment when you finally allow yourself to stretch into a little more space.
