Seen and Unseen
Seen and Unseen is a collection of figurative paintings and drawings exploring gesture, identity, and the space between what we show and what we hold quietly within ourselves. These figures are less about capturing a particular person and more about the feeling of being human: thoughtful, uncertain, guarded, open, and still becoming.
Grace
Grace began as a simple charcoal figure, drawn with loose, gestural lines and a single wash of warm yellow.
The color moves down through the figure almost like light, softening the starkness of the charcoal without taking away from it. There is something quiet about the figure that I wanted to leave unresolved, a moment of stillness, vulnerability, and grace.
